During an auction at the DESA Unicum auction house, which took place in 2020, the city of Sosnowiec purchased memorabilia of the world-famous composer Władysław Szpilman: a Grotrian Steinweg cross piano from 1956 and a Pelikan fountain pen from the post-war period.
